There were a few hours during launch day where we experienced server-load issues that impacted players’ ability to jump right in, but we were able to resolve those later in the day. We’ve been following the discussions the past couple days and want to thank you for your feedback as well as your support. ![]() Now, everyone who purchased Warcraft III: Reforged can get a refund instantly, but we wouldn’t be in a hurry since patches addressing the most pressing issues with the game are already on the way… Warcraft III community manager Randy “Kaivax” Jordan posted a lengthy statement in the game’s forums addressing the current situation and explaining some of the reasoning behind cutting some online features and ditching the new cutscenes. However, according to Blizzard, the team is “fully committed to supporting the game for a long time to come”. It could be better and it could be way worse. We played the game and have to say that while Warcraft III: Reforged couldn’t be considered a glorious remaster everyone hoped it to be, it’s definitely not the worst game in history. Soon enough, Warcraft III: Reforged became the lowest-rated game ever, according to Metacritic.Īnd that’s not fair. Blizzard delay with refunds also added some fuel to the fire which set the internet ablaze. Naturally, when only half of the things work as intended, fans get angry and yet another Blizzard-hate train starts rolling. Everything Blizzard promised can be found on our other blog post. Warcraft III: Reforged launched with some technical bugs, Blizzard stripped away some online features of the original title and gave fans some false promises about in-game cutscenes and cinematics.
